Question of the Day; What Flowers Last Longer?

Question of the Day; What Flowers Last Longer?

So today is a friend’s birthday? Or maybe your anniversary? Mother’s Day? Or even just because. But you’ve decide that you want to surprise someone with some beautiful flowers, because let’s face it, there is nothing more cheerful than a fresh bouquet on your desk. Of course, when selling flowers to my customers, I ALWAYS ensure to give them something fresh. I would not want to receive wilted flowers, nor would I sell someone any. When a customer walks in my shop, they often ask what flowers last longer, or how long will this last. Understandably, I do not expect every one to be as familiar as I am, so I share what I know,

Everyone loves roses. Maybe not everyone, but I’ll go as far as saying the majority of flowers often purchased at my shop are roses. Roses by themselves, or mixed with other flowers. They are all so beautiful, in their vast array of colors, textures, and scents. But realistically speaking, roses are not going to last more than a week, a week and a half at most. Sometimes two, .
When being asked the question of floral longevity, I cannot stress the fact that if it is long lasting you are looking for, stick to tropical.
Any tropical flower will last well into a month. Exotic and unique, they can complement any design.
A few tropical flowers are Birds of Paradise, Heliconia, Protea, Cymbidium Orchids, Dendrobium Orchids, Ginger, and Anthurium.

So next time you visit my shop, or any other shop for that matter, you will know what to get and what to expect!
